Cleveland Embraces Bachelor Cooking
Cleveland, OH July 31, 2004 -- Finally there's a fun and easy cooking DVD for the busy bachelor. Cleveland's own Bachelorcooking.com has launched a basic cooking series DVD aimed at assisting the single man in his daily culinary pursuits. From a trip to Cleveland's West Side Market to preparing such entrées as Pan Seared Tuna and Stromboli, the basic cooking DVD takes the single man through a step-by-step process that can turn any novice into a confident cook in no time.
Self-taught chef, Dave Chippi, shares his lifelong passion for all things food in this fun and easy-to-follow, 80-minute DVD that is a must for any bachelor looking to shore-up his skills in the kitchen. Unlike those cable-cooking shows with their expensive ingredients, endless preparation and cleanup, this basic cooking DVD shows an assortment of 10-minute recipes resulting in date-quality meals in no time with minimal preparation. Simple processed foods, pre-made seasonings, sauces and other store-bought items are used with simple twists to produce some fantastic dishes. Any single man can master Chippi's self-created recipes. Chippi even introduces the bachelor to ideas on table-setting and wine selection.
Chippi's friends, Matt and Mike, who also share an interest in cooking, join Dave in this first of many DVDs. The conversation is typical male banter, while they imbibe adult beverages, talk, tell stories, laugh, poke fun at each other and cook.
Strip away the bachelor-cooking theme and you have a unique approach to cooking for anyone. Bachelor Cooking embraces ready-made items and assembles them together to create great meals. Whether you need a meal for your date or need to bring a dish to a party, Bachelor Cooking shows you how.
Chippi's passion for cooking began in college and was fueled from a high school job in an open-air market and early cable appearances by Emeril Lagasse. Dave finally brought his passion for food to the DVD, filming the entire series in his Avon Lake, Ohio, home kitchen.
This unique product is appropriately priced for the bachelor at $15.99 and can be purchased at www.bachelorcooking.com Up-and-coming DVDs include, "Basic Barbecue Series," "Basic Mexican Series," and "Crock Pot Cooking Series." Chippi notes, "There are so many ideas planned, it's just a matter of finding the time. Our goal is to build a library of DVDs for the bachelor, with different titles in each series." When asked why the two color graphics, Chippi responds, "While developing the DVD I was also trying to create a brand. The two colors are born from the old generic food labels of the 80s."
Chippi is a self-taught producer, video editor, animation creator and graphic artist. Dave leverages, AppleTM software tools, single CCD digital video cameras, simple stage lighting and wireless sound tools. Slap on some simple sound filtering software and professionally purchased music clips; Chippi creates a DVD product, which may not be Hollywood, but certainly has a professional look and feel. Bachelor Cooking is produced by TMP Productions, LLC, which Chippi founded in 2003. TMP Productions, LLC produces original content DVDs including educational videos, training videos and multimedia sales collateral.
