Antiquecast.com Launches Antique and Collectible
Antiquecast.com, a free, one-stop site for antique and collectible trade news and services, has announced the launch of it's cutting edge internet portal designed to streamline auction, antique and collectible searches on the internet.
"As more people are turning to the internet as a means of shopping and collecting, and with the onslaught of online auctions springing up on the web, people need a place to turn to quickly sift through the daunting amount of information out there," says Antiquecast's co-founder Rei Kacinskas. And that's just what Antiquecast.com does. Featuring an internet auction "meta search" which searchs across the internet by item or category, Antiquecast allows consumers to view auction listings from eBay, Amazon and Yahoo simultaneously, offering buyers and sellers alike instantaneous live price and quality comparisons of items being offered online. Antiquecast also provides the revolutionary Price Guide 2000™, a post-sale price search that gives actual sales results of items sold at eBay and Amazon auctions; a must for buyers when determining their top bid or sellers setting a reserve price on items being offered.
Unlike many other auction related sites that exist only to sell goods, Antiquecast offers a content rich site featuring live international trade news, up-to-the-minute press releases in cooperation with important auction houses such as Sotheby's, Christies, Skinner's, William Doyle Galleries, Phillip's, Sloan's, etc., as well as Trade Talk, Auction Tips and other auction related news.
Other features include a collection of free Fine Art E-Cards to send to other antique and art enthusiasts, a resource guide and a Quick Start feature for the first-time visitor. Currently, Antiquecast is offering a free contest with a signed Leroy Nieman Serigraph retailing for $5,000 as the grand prize.
