What Can You Fit in Your Little Red Wagon?
Bring those antiques to For What It's Worth on March 15

Rumson, NJ…Forrestdale School will host For What It's Worth, Antique Valuations, at the school located on Forrest Avenue, Rumson on Saturday, March 15, 2003 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.. There will be appraisals offered on estate and costume jewelry, textiles, rock and roll memorabilia, watches, pottery, porcelain and china, silver, 50's housewares, furniture, American and European art, and more.

All are welcome to make a day of it! Doors open at 8:30 a.m. Registration numbers for antique appraisals will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. Start the day with breakfast offered by Brooklyn Bagel while you attend the 9:00 a.m. seminar on vintage costume jewelry. Or, browse and purchase from the extensive book and catalog collection made up of the best available in each antique category. All books were hand-selected by the For What It's Worth committee, working with recommendations of the appraisers, and Landmark Books of Spring Lake. Once the valuations begin, each appraiser will be given an opportunity to appear on-stage sharing the most interesting or quirky items brought in by the audience as well as background and recommended care of those collectibles. Walk around and view individual appraisers in action or get lunch prepared by Brennans of Rumson. Then, settle back and view the pre-taped video and the rest of the valuations as filmed by the Forrestdale students.

For more information, see the Forrestdale website: www.rumson.k12.nj.us. For tickets, call Lorri DeBernardis at 732- 224-0314. The cost is $10.00 for spectators, a single appraisal for $15.00, and two appraisals for $25.00.

Proceeds from this event will be used for the annual Eighth Grade Trip to Washington, D.C.
